Saree Care

First Wash: Always opt for dry cleaning.

Subsequent Washes: If dry cleaning isn’t possible, gently hand wash in cold water using silk-suitable detergent, or baby shampoo.

Drying: Always air dry the saree in the shade. Avoid wringing, machine washing, or using a dryer. Handle the saree gently.

Storage: Do not store saree without dry cleaning it first. Periodically expose the fabric to natural air. Place silica gel sachets or moisture absorbers in your storage area to protect the saree.

Ironing: Use a medium heat setting when ironing silk.
